Well if Dawe comes back he better hit the gym and do some push ups, like push up away from the dinner table. He’s terrible at second but I will hold judgement. Hopefully he listens and loses weight. Teams will begin to start not fuckin with him if he don’t. Yes he can hit but he can’t field unless it’s at him.

One of the best hitters in the country, and still very young. 2B may not be his best position, but park him at 3B, C, AH, 1B and he is as good as any of the people at those stops in the game currently.
 
Jones can play 2B also.

Yes that is what they’re claiming. DS pockets are as deep as anybody in the game. Pretty sure all of them have played for Dan in the past. The only one I’m not sure on is Everett. I don’t remember him playing for DS before.

Absolutely, remember Dan Smith is the one who bought Bradley Jones from sports reach for $25,000 a few years back. If the right amount of money is given and the team is legit yes he’ll go to Dan Smith. Now Everett and Matte are both catchers and AH. To many catchers and AH on that team already. Yates is a no doubt. They pay him just as much a Jones. I think if you take Everett and Matte you can afford to get rid of Dawe as he’s not a better hitter than any of those four players they want to get. Just my opinion.

Not sure if any of these moves will happen, but I do think Resmondo needs to get younger.
 
I assume Carucci has them locked up, but Heren, Rainer or Harris would inject some youth into Ressy.

Yoder has a .680 OBP this year. Ahead of Bubba, not far behind Yates. Ahead of Streets, Abrigo, Carriger, Ussery.
 
Of the M/AA CFers, only Kirsten, Nevoso, and Briggs are higher OBP, and those guys are studs but Yoder is still way ahead defensively.

Dan Smith, and his son have been doing this a long time. They do it for the love of the game. They have a very successful business, and I am pretty certain there are ways to write off most of these expenses for them through their contracts with the players. If you are asking how, you probably aren't the owner of a large business with good tax people.
 
If the money spent on softball, affected their business, I am pretty sure that the family would be pushing for him to stop. As much as the rest of the family may enjoy softball, probably not at the expense of their inheritance.

guy doesn't come through in big games and situations in my opinion and he looks like an outlier on that team with the "eye" test. Just my opinion. You don't have to agree.
